The Royal Hotel, is a charming and sizable Georgian building, opened as the first hotel in Weston-super-Mare in 1810. Situated in the heart of Weston, The Royal Hotel is set in its own extensive lawns which extend to the promenade offering views across the bay, towards the Somerset hills and the Welsh coast. The hotel is privately owned by Mr & Mrs Eggington who have lived in Weston all their lives and have always had an affection for this splendid elegant building. With excellent conference and wedding facilities including a civil wedding licence, The Royal Hotel is just one minute from the town centre and is easy accessible for guests travelling from anywhere in the country and has ample car parking facilities. Whether your stay is for business or pleasure we assure you of our best service at all times. There are 37 comfortable bedrooms, all have en-suite facilities with bath and/or shower. There are 3 four posters, 2 luxury suites and 28 non-smoking rooms. Children are welcome and may stay free if under 3 years old.

The hotel's two bars offer a range of entertainment to cater for all tastes. From live jazz on Sundays to vocalists and entertainers on other nights. For a more upbeat evening then visit the Feathers Bar to enjoy live entertainment Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The Refurbished Golden Jubilee Restaurant has an excellent reputation with hotel guests and local residents alike. This is due to the excellent menu devised by our Head Chef, which includes dishes to tempt and excite all tastes. The menu changes frequently as Chef creates new dishes for all our guests to enjoy. Tuesday and Thursday evenings offer live music in the Golden Jubilee Restaurant. Our resident singer Jacqueline Dennett, a fine female vocalist will be singing songs to warm the your heart. The Royal Hotel holds a civil wedding licence and has two delightful rooms that are licensed to sacrament your wedding. The Aperitif Lounge is ideal for small intimate weddings while the Birnbeck Suite, with its bay windows boasting unrivalled views of Weston Bay, can host the larger wedding party.
