Sit yourself in Manchester’s largest green space, with expansive views to the Pennines. Heaton Park is not just for relaxing, you will find a children’s playground, woodland walks, rowing boats and cycle paths. If you visit try and take time to visit the grand 18th-century mansion and farm.
Band on the Wall
This music venue is a local legend, frequented by the best jazz and world music artists. It is situated in Manchester’s Northen Quarter which is part of the city centre. Recently it has been exstenisley renovated and now boasts a stunning interiror that perfectly sets the scene to watch your favourite performers. This iconic venue has been going since 1930 and it still remains as popular as ever.
Old Trafford – Home to Manchester United
If you are a lover of sports then why not get yourself a ticket for a Manchester United game. Watch the likes of Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand battle out with some of Europe’s best teams.
